An enclosure is the full glass setup around a shower: doors, fixed panels, and sometimes a return panel or full-height glass.
Enclosure Types
- Walk-in enclosures with a fixed panel and an open or swinging entry.
- Corner and neo-angle enclosures for showers tucked into a corner.
- Door-and-return enclosures where glass wraps two sides.
- Full-height and steam-ready glass for steam showers.
Remodels and New Bathrooms
If the bathroom is being remodeled, glass is the last step. The tile and curb need to be finished before the final measure, so it helps to get the glass estimate early and the final measure after the tile is done.
What’s in Your Estimate
- The enclosure layout, door swing, and glass thickness.
- Hardware finish and glass options.
- The price in writing and the timeline for ordering custom glass.
